The Intercountry Adoption Resource Network (Aust) Inc ICARN would like to invite friends and family to a fundraising event on Sunday 25th October to support the victims of the recent Philippine floods and in particular the many children's homes affected by the devastating waters.

ICARN is holding a film afternoon at the Palace Westgarth Cinema 89 High St Northcote to see "Mao's Last Dancer" (a two hour film rated PG) at around 3.30pm - the exact time depends on how many tickets we can sell and therefore what size theatre we need. (If we sell 120 tickets ICARN can have an exclusive cinema!)

Ticket costs: adults $20 / children/students $15.

It is hoped that many family and friends will support this Philippine fundraiser, and at the same time enjoy this most inspiring filmabout tragedy over adversity.

Please contact Mary Natoli for ticket bookings: marynatoli@gmail.com or ph 94176949.

If you are unable to attend the movie, families and friends are also invited to donate directly into ICARN's Philippine account, (in order to avoid multiple international transfer bank fees, if each family sends money directly to the Philippines). ICARN will transfer this money as soon as possible after the film event.

ICARN's account details are - Bendigo Bank BSB:633-000, Account: 128674983; Description: "Manila Flood".

People are also most welcome to donate material aid to ICARN but it needs to be very specific at this time and targeted to the greatest need - we understand that clothing and toys are not required at this time, as they are being provided locally - what is more urgently needed is pharmaceutical/medical products and other specific infant items.
