Pinoy TV
The first program produced by the group was called Pinoy TV and aimed to highlight the many diverse and colourful members of our Filipino Australian community. Al Noveloso, Mary Agustin, RoseAnne Misajon, Matt Margarejo and special guests brought to our viewers a magazine style program which showcased the many aspects of the Filipino Australian community.
Segments included cooking, guest interviews, community news, issues and events, panel discussion, and cultural performances . It also featured a wide variety of Filipino artists based in Australia and in the Philippines.
Pinoy Music Lounge
The group produced a second program which was mainly a youth-oriented chat program featuring music videos and live performances from local and Philippine-based bands and artists.
Giselle, DJ Gwapz, and Manuel were joined by regular visitor Kat and call-in personality Lola Bingi that brought our viewers a half hour of fun and mayhem. Kat’s Cultural Quirks, Dj Gwapz jokes, “fully sakit” dance moves and words of wisdom, and the whole crew’s attempt to give advice on the Letters segment will leave the viewers confused or in stitches. In later episodes, guest presenters also joined the program which included Ryan Perdio, Carlo Cajili, Melanie Glico, Allison Tomazin and Cindy.
The Pinoy Lounge
The Pinoy Lounge was an amalgamation of two previous programs, Pinoy TV and Music Lounge, bringing elements of both programs into one half-hour show.
The show offers a range of segments that includes dance and musical performances, feature stories, cooking, interviews with various personalities in the community and comedy sketches. Light and entertaining, the show is aimed at the Australian mainstream audience with Filipino flavours. The show’s cast included Giselle Gonzales, Joseph Platt, Ryan Perdio, DJ Gwapz and Matt Margarejo.
